What types of watersport services do we offer?

 

Wingfoiling, E-Foiling, Stand Up Paddle Downwind Foiling, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Sailing Lessons, Boat Support, Open water swim support. 

 

Do I need any prior experience to participate?

 

You do not need any prior experience in watersports to participate in any of the lessons offered. We do require that you are an adequate open water swimmer. 

 

What safety measures do you have in place?

 

All lessons require the participant to wear a USCG approved life jacket, we also require the use of a two way radio helmet for clear communication during lessons on the water. 

 

How do I make a reservation or book a lesson?

You can book online using the Lessons offered drop down menu on our website or call now and we will text you the link to book via venmo, paypal or zelle.

What should I wear or bring for my lesson?

 

Bring a 4/3 wetsuit, neoprene surf booties and an extra towel. 

 

Do you provide equipment, or do I need to bring my own?

 

Rental equipment is provided for an additional fee based on the lesson type, you may opt in to rental gear during the checkout process. 

 

Are there age or weight restrictions for activities?

 

The minimum age for any lesson would be 10 years old, with mandatory parental consent form. There is also a weight restriction of 300 lbs. 

 

Where are you located, and what are your hours of operation?

 

Our business location is at 158 Saint Thomas Way, Tiburon, CA 94920. Hours of operation will vary depending on lessons booked for the week. The school is open during daylight hours only. Please contact Josh Waldman, your instructor directly to coordinate your lesson timing. 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

 

We provide a full refund if you cancel 7 days prior to your booked lesson, 50% before 72 hours of your lesson, and for any cancellations less than 72 hours, only reschedule options are available. 

 

Can I get a refund if the weather conditions are poor?

 

See refund policy details above, we work with the best wind conditions for the lesson type and will contact you directly if the weather is not suitable. 

 

What payment methods are accepted?

Can I book with previous medical conditions?

 

All major medical conditions that would impact your lesson should be disclosed in the liability waiver and discussed with Captain Josh waldman prior to starting your lesson. 

YEs, definitely you can change your lesson if the instructor agrees but you need to inform 72 hours before. 

No, only students that have booked the lesson may enter the water and take part in the lesson. However explanations of nautical terms are provided at no extra cost. Everyone is welcome to join along on the boat, including kids, only if all participants sign our waiver.

Yes, please bring your own water, food, and snacks. Sandwiches and energy bars are recommended as they are easy to handle on the boat. 

It is recommended your bring a 4/3mm wetsuit or warmer if you are sensitive to the cold, if so bring a 5/3 or whatever wetsuit you feel most comfortable in based on the weather and conditions that time of year.

The weather on the Bay is unpredictable and variable. It’s best to dress in layers, such as a tank top or t-shirt under a long-sleeve shirt and a jacket. Bring a hat and wear comfortable, low-heeled shoes with non-marking soles, like sneakers or tennis shoes. 

For Regatta tours, please bring your own Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions (SI’s), and binoculars to follow the race closely. We will leave an hour before the race starts to secure a good position near the action.

  • San Francisco Pickup: Sail along the waterfront, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and past Crissy Field, St. Francis Yacht Club, Alcatraz, and possibly the Sea Lions at Pier 39.
  • Sausalito Pickup: Sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, through Raccoon Strait, past Belvedere Peninsula, Tiburon, Ayala Cove, and back through Richardson Bay along the Sausalito waterfront.

Yes, the Marriage Proposal Cruise is customizable based on your preferences. We can take you to a special location and cruise while you propose. Champagne and roses can be hidden on board to enhance the occasion.
